Meet Ann
I’m Ann Hooper, a CPA with 15+ years of experience in corporate accounting and audit — and I’ve spent my career learning how to look beyond the numbers to understand what is really happening inside a business.
Throughout my corporate career, I worked with complex financial data, internal processes, and operational decisions. I learned that numbers are not just reports that tell you what happened — they are information that can help you make better decisions about what happens next.
When I launched my own business in 2020, I experienced firsthand what it is like to be the person making all the decisions. Like many entrepreneurs, I quickly learned that running a business requires more than expertise in your craft. It requires understanding your finances, knowing what is actually profitable, and having confidence in the decisions you make.
That is the gap I help bridge.
Through the Quiet Growth Method™, I help women entrepreneurs use financial clarity to build businesses that are profitable, sustainable, and aligned with their goals.
Together, we look at the areas that impact business decisions most:
Which offers are creating profit — and which may be draining your time and energy
Whether your pricing supports the business you want to build
Where your money is going and how expenses affect your bottom line
Whether your current business model can support your growth goals
How cash flow impacts the decisions you make every day
Because more revenue does not automatically mean a healthier business. Sustainable growth comes from understanding the numbers behind the decisions.
My background:
Before becoming an entrepreneur, I spent more than 15 years in corporate accounting and audit, including 8 years in internal audit roles within large healthcare and retail organizations.
That experience taught me how to identify gaps, ask the right questions, and understand the difference between numbers on a report and the story those numbers are telling.
In 2020, I launched my own business and began helping entrepreneurs better understand their finances and make more informed decisions. I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming business numbers can feel when you are trying to grow without a clear picture of what is really happening.
My goal is not to make you love spreadsheets.
My goal is to help you understand enough of your numbers to make decisions with confidence.
What it's like to work with me: My approach is direct, practical, and grounded in real business experience.
You won’t get complicated financial jargon or generic advice. You’ll get clear insights, thoughtful analysis, and practical guidance designed to help you understand your business and determine your next best steps.
I believe financial clarity should feel empowering — not overwhelming.
Your numbers should not be something you avoid. They should be one of your greatest tools for building the business you actually want.
Beyond the Business
I live near Lake Michigan in Wisconsin with my dog Izzy, who keeps me on a very consistent walking schedule.
I’m a mom of two grown sons, a proud grandma, a mystery novel enthusiast, and someone who believes business success should support your life — not consume it.
Because the best business is not just one that makes money.
It’s one that works for you.
